On Sunday, 23rd October at the marketplace.
Last year the first Bodenmaiser Countrymen’s autumn market took place. The Bodenmais Tourismus & Marketing GmbH (BTM) is pushing for a commitment between tourism and agriculture with this annual market. The produce from the region and farms with horticultural background play the most important role of the day.
On Sunday the 23rd October at 13.00, the day dealing with the topic of agriculture in the Bavarian Forest will be taking place at the Bodenmaiser marketplace once again. There’s sure to be something offered for all age groups.
Direct marketers from the region are offering seasonal produce such as pumpkins, potatoes, honey, sheep wool products from the Perl sheep farm, fish, goat’s cheese, fruit and fruit juices and much more for sale. There’s a children’s program from the Kinderland office, offering lots of fun making straw dragons, a nature and sensory activity course and much more. At the milk-bar you can enjoy a coffee with fritters and try sweet and tasty delicacies. A display of “chain-saw art carving” from Franz Rossmeisl is also a great attraction. Particularly seldom agricultural machines are also on display. The trio “Schnurzn´gred” will be providing good musical entertainment. Patron of the presentation that is being managed by the BTM will be the Mayor Michael Adam again, who invites all visitors and locals to come and enjoy a very interesting day. At 12:00 local retailers also invite all visitors to embark on a Shopping-Sunday stroll through Bodenmais. On the Kötztinger Straße you can get some bargains at the jumble sale.
