
Takeo Ischi – a Japanese Bavarian yodeler
or a Japanese yodeling Bavarian?
He’ll be appearing at the marketplace beer garden 01 and 29 of July.
Takeo Ischi is without doubt one of the very rare phenomena’s of our time. For the older generation he’s always been a great star in the folklore music scene for many years now. But since his legendary appearance at Stefan Raab's "TV-Total" show, the youth of today know and idolize him. Takeo is a real cult for teens and twenties alike! In discotheques and ski-lodges the the mass revel his dance und après ski versions of older folk songs like "Bibi-Hendl", "Appenzeller" or "Zwei Spuren im Schnee". Earlier the audience would have paid compliments like great, unbelievable or fantastic, now you hear terms like hip, genial and cool.
Come to see him at the Marketplace beer garden on Thursday 01 July or Thursday 29 July at 20:00, and convince yourself as to his yodeling talents. By unfavorable weather conditions, the arrangement will be held at the JOSKA Glassmakers Lodge.
On 01. July at 16.00 the “Yodel talent“ is appearing at the Schnapps museum, the “Gläsernen Destille“ in Böbrach where he’ll be giving autographs and answering all questions for an hour, so don’t miss it!
