A friendship hike to overcome boundaries.

The skiing associations from Bodenmais and Spicak meet on Saturday the 25 September for the first time, to take part on a boundary crossing hiking tour.
The Bodenmaiser skiing association and the SC Spicak have been on cordial terms for many years now.
For the first time now, the mountain hike divisions of both associations are carrying out a one day boundary crossing hike together, on Saturday the 25 September 2010.
Michael Sneberger, Mayor of Bayerisch Eisenstein is the patron of the event. Starting point is the Chamer Hütte shelter, on the Kleiner Arber. The visitors from Czechia will meet their Germans friends on Friday evening, to enjoy a nice evening together and stay overnight at the hostel.
For those who didn’t stay overnight up at the hostel, the tour will begin on Saturday at 07:00 in Bodenmais at the Rißlocher hiker’s car park. After the climb up via the Rißlocher waterfalls, all participants will meet at the Chamer Hütte shelter to have breakfast together.
At about 09:15, the group will be setting off to go to the Kleinen Arbersee, and then on to the Scheiben car park. Here you can join the hiking group. At about 12.00, going further on to Zwerchheck, where the Prager shelter was originally situated. Here a lunch break will be made. After reaching the view across the Schwarzen See via the Seewand, then on to the Teufelssee und Spicak center. Later on in the afternoon, a visit to the “Lawine” inn will take place. Afterwards, the return journey goes back with the bus to Bodenmais.
All non-members can also participate. The overnight stay at the Chamer hostel is free of charge for all hikers participating.
