The premiere of the first folklore evening in October was a huge success at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. And of course further cultural events in the form of "A Musi im Dorf” will be regularly taking place during the winter months of December, January and February. On the 30 Dec at 19.30, the public can enjoy music & tradition again at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. Musicians and vocalist from Bodenmais and vicinity will be providing wholesome entertainment and an insight into the native culture of the Bavarian Forest. The “Oberrieder Plattler” will be vividly displaying folklore from our region with different dances. The up and coming young Bodenmaiser star Johannes Weinberger, the three “Silberberg Sänger” and the “Bodenmaiser Tanzlmusi” were all greatly appreciated by the audience during recent performances. Your host for the evening is Michael Treml, a genuine Bodenmaiser with many years of folklore evening experience, who always entertains the audience in his own characteristic way. The following fixed dates make it possible to take a look into the “Bodenmaiser hearts”: Thursday 30 December 2010, Thursday 13 January 2011, and Thursday 10 February 2011.
