“Bodenmais – Mein Markt” will be the new slogan and logo of the retailers in Bodenmais.
The “Bodenmaiser” will be introduced as the new currency and as an impulse for the local retail trade / the gift vouchers are being accepted in numerous retail stores.

It’s tear-resistant, copy-proof and has running serial numbers – and in the future it’ll be an official means of payment in town: The “Bodenmaiser”, a gift and shopping voucher worth 5, 10 or 20 Euros. The Bodenmais Tourismus & Marketing GmbH is introducing the new “currency“ in order to support the local retailers. In addition, with the introduction of the new slogan including the logo, a new profile and clear identification with the Bodenmaiser retailers will be established. “Bodenmais – mein Markt” is the slogan of the retail trade and the corresponding logo will be an integral part of future joint marketing measures for the retailers – as well as the new “currency”.

The first phase incorporates 3.000 “Bodenmaiser”, available as gift vouchers that can be acquired from the tourist-information at the guildhall on Monday. All businesses that accept the “Bodenmaiser” will be identified with a big sticker on the entrance door that will be coming shortly. The “Bodenmaiser” however, has much more to offer than just being a gift voucher for the Bodenmaiser community: On the one hand the new voucher is merged into the sales activities of the BTM tour operator in various ways (e.g. a holiday including ten “Bodenmaiser” to go shopping). In addition the voucher will be incorporated in numerous marketing activities and competitions. An additional incentive is created for the guest and the local retail trade in town is directly profiting from it.

The retailer who has redeemed the vouchers will then be refunded to the full amount from the BTM. He submits his monthly voucher claim to the BTM, who then transfers the full amount to his account.
