Bodenmais launches the autumn cabaret
with four top class appearances

Bodenmais. Four cabaret or rather musical cabaret arrangements are planned this autumn in Bodenmais. The kick-off is on Saturday the 25 September at 20.00 at the parish hall, with the Multimedia-Marketing-Cabaret, “Koawerbundned” from Herbert Pöhnl. Naturally with the ”OrginalWalderBuamShowBänd” consisting of Theo Hofmann (percussion), Christoph Pfeffer (guitar), Roland Pongratz (Styrian) and Hartwig Löfflmann (tuba). It’s the critical but entertaining search for identity, tradition and prospects in the Bavarian Forest. A humorous illustration about “Task-Forces”, “Brain Storming” and how the “Waidler” handle the situation.

On Thursday the 14 October at 20.00, a real cabaret heavy weight comes to the parish hall in Bodenmais. None less than the actor, director and Nockherberg orator Bruno Jonas, will be giving us the honor.
With his brand new program with the obvious title “Neues Programm” (New program), the native born Lower Bavarian will be expressing his typical sharp witted, unvarnished political and social criticism.

Straight afterwards on Saturday, 16 October at 20.00 the next escapade will follow at the JOSKA glassmakers lodge: the “Bayerischen Löwen”! With the subtitle “Bavarian Underground“ the young music-friends Dominik Glöbl, Christian Striegl, Michael Wallner, Franz Eisenschink und Sepp Haslinger have joined together and formed an ensemble. The goal: enjoy playing music and having lots of fun. And the 5 Straubinger do just that, demonstrating that brass music is more than just marches and polka. The Lower Bavarian answer to “LaBrassBanda“. From swing to jazz, the talented musicians demonstrate real artistic feats with their instruments. Unusual brass music + Humor = a great entertaining evening.
On Friday the 12.11 at 19.30, the superb “Biermösl Blosn”are appearing at the parish hall. The brother’s Well trio stand for Bavarian cult par excellence! Along with Gerhard Polt (who will be appearing in Bodenmais next autumn 2011) they range among the best Bavarian politically critical cabarets offered. The fact that Hans, Christoph and Michael Well have a great deal to offer as musicians is self explanatory when you take a closer look at their family tree. The members of the Biermösl Blosn and the sister’s trio “Wellküren”, belong to the 17 man strong folks music Well family from Günzlhofen near Fürstenfeldbruck. They began making folk music appearances in 1976, after earlier appearances under the guidance of their father.
This top class offer marks the occasion of the 30 anniversary of the Bodenmaiser Youth Cultural Club 2011. In collaboration with the Bodenmais Tourismus & Marketing GmbH, the anniversary will be duly celebrated with performances from Bruno Jonas, the“Biermösl Blosn” and with Gerhard Polt (in April 2011 in Bodenmais).
