Plus 8.7 percent overnight stays and a staggering 16.7 percent rise of more guests compared to 2008 / and the current winter season is promising a further rise in figures!
The Bodenmais Tourismus & Marketing GmbH (BTM) is very glad to have achieved a plump plus of 8.7 percent overnight stays 2009. This shows that the BTM is spectacularly continuing the positive trend from 2008 (+12.2 percent). As announced by the managing director Andreas Lambeck, the figures rose from 775.091 overnight-stays (2008) to 840.500 overnight-stays this last year. “We didn’t quite manage to reach our ambitious target of 850.000 overnight stays, but I think that we can be satisfied with our efforts", said Andreas Lambeck, who is convinced that his aim to reach 900.00 can be achieved 2010. The number of incoming guests 2009 has pleasantly developed to far more than just better. The number of guests in Bodenmais has risen by 16.7 percent compared to the previous year. However the average duration of stay has dropped accordingly from 6.51 days (2008) to 6.07.
