The first big concert highlight for 2011 in Bodenmais has already been outlined: The SEER from Austria will be a holding a big open-air concert at the marketplace in Bodenmais on the 23 July, during their “Wohlfühlgfühl-Tour 2011”. However the SEER has not only been very successful in their home country. In 2002 the “Junischnee” album was released, which stayed in the Austrian charts for 111 weeks. But the SEER are also well known “beyond the borders” in Germany, and first and foremost in Bavaria. Admission tickets in advance cost 30 Euros for locals and guests with the spa card, all others are charged 34 Euros.
In 2003 the band was presented with the Amadeus Award for “Junischnee” in the category “Group Pop/Rock national”, and 2009 followed the Amadeus Award in the category “Pop music”.
The music from the SEER is alive. “Live” symbolizes action on stage, exactly the opposite from “canned”. Nine (!) musicians are active on stage. Ten individualists welded together to an ensemble.
They’re "artists" who always give their best on stage to capture the audience. It’s a great “seer show” creating emotional ties, where both music and musicians are perceptible. And with hits like “Wild´s Wasser”, “Eiskristall” and “Junischnee” they’ll be sure to take the Bodenmaiser marketplace by storm.
It’s a lifestyle packed full of notes, words and arrangements especially trimmed to meet the taste of the audience, and a great success! The SEER are – according to CD‘s sold – one of the most successful Austrian bands in recent years. This didn’t come out of the blue, but grew steadily with time. Not a test-tube baby, but something that grew up over the years to what it is today. It’s the concerts that make this really noticeable, when a concert is more like a great reunion with friends.
The concert begins at 20:00 with admission at 18.30, as there will be no seating available. A surcharge of four Euros will be raised on box-office tickets sales (only available when the concert is not sold out in advance). There will only be a total of 3000 tickets available for sale. Tickets can be immediately ordered online: www.bodenmais.de
