Polonäse Blankenese with Gottlieb Wendehals

Carnival in Bodenmais offers a great ragbag program: starting on Thursday (16.02.) "unsinnigen Donnerstag“, with the “storming of the guildhall”, when the Bodenmais carnival skirts take charge of the guildhall in Bodenmais at 17:07. The traditional “storming of the guildhall” will once again be great fun along with free beer and doughnuts. Afterwards the carnival skirts will be moving on to the Gasthof Post.

The “Turnerball” on Saturday the 18.02, will be held in parish hall. Music from the cover-band “Kir Royal Extra” will be providing a great party atmosphere. Funny sketches and parody performances from the world of football and a great tombola will provide fun and entertainment during the breaks.

On Sunday the 19th of February the “Carnival Conga Line King” Gottlieb Wendehals, will trying to get all Bodenmaiser and guests to join in on an attempt to form the longest conga line at the marketplace. He’s sure to accomplish his task as no other German pop artist is as popular as Gottlieb Wendehals when it comes to celebrating carnival. With well-known party crackers like “Polonäse Blankenese”, “Alles hat ein Ende nur die Wurst hat zwei” or “Morgens Fango, abends Tango” all party-goers will be singing and dancing along at the marketplace. The Open-Air-Carnival Party begins at 19.00 with a party warm-up with DJ Reedoo, who knows how to put on the heat and celebrate. Admission is free of charge.
As usual the grand finale in Bodenmais is the carnival parade on the 21st of February. At approx. 11.00 the party worm will be trailing through the town on its way to the marketplace. Afterwards the “After trailing-party” will take place, run by the Youth Culture Association. At 13.00 in the parish hall, the children’s carnival is offering games and lots of fun for the youngsters with Sabina the clown.
During all the “crazy days” the harebrained ado will also be supported by the Bodenmaiser catering with numerous activities in the restaurants, pubs and the discotheque.

At the marketplace there’s a carnival and hits party with the DEM carnival star “Gottlieb Wendehals”. We hope to do the longest „“Polonäse Blankenese” conga line ever at our marketplace. All carnival lovers are welcome to join in to dance and sing along!

The carnival parade and “After Trail Party”, Dienstag, 21.02.2012 at 11:11:
The Shrove Tuesday “party worm” will be trailing through the town on its way to the marketplace. Afterwards the “After trailing-party” will take place, run by the Youth Culture Association. At 13.00 in the parish hall, the children’s carnival is offering games and lots of fun for the youngsters with Sabina the clown.
