The Bodenmais Tourism is pushing for a commitment between tourism and agriculture with a new annual presentation / Products, farms and the topic “Farmhouse Holidays” will be heading the day.
For the first time in Bodemais on 17 October, the Bodenmais Tourism and Marketing GmbH will be organizing a Countrymen’s autumn at the marketplace. During the presentation the main topics will be “Farmhouse Holidays”, “Our capable farmers” and “Regional agricultural produce”. Patron of the presentation that is being managed by the BTM will be the mayor Michael Adam. All farmers from the region are called on to take advantage of the Countrymen’s autumn on the 17 October and introduce themselves, regardless as to whether with animals, produce offers or farmhouse holidays! All are invited to take part and arrange the day together. The day of the presentation has been chosen due to the fact that the autumn half-term holidays have begun in 12 federal states, and Bodenmais will be well booked out.
The aim of first Bodenmaiser Countrymen’s autumn is to give the farmers in the region, the opportunity to present their farms and produce. “Bodenmais fully supports our capable farmers. I am very aware that nothing can run well without agriculture“, said Michael Adam. He knows very well that the cultivated landscape is very important for tourism, which is of course only possible with the farmers. Tourism and agriculture run hand in hand and inseparable according to Adam. A good example is the cross-country ski runs in Bodemais, which of course are only possible with the willing support of the farmers.
In future the Bodenmais Tourism will be supporting and assisting the topic: “Farmhouse Holidays”, according to BTM manager Andreas Lambeck. All farmers are invited to actively take part on all future presentations from the BTM and introduce themselves. Kick-off for the first Bodenmaiser Countrymen’s autumn is the 17 October, from 13:00 to 18:00 at the marketplace.
All presentation and marketing expenditure will be carried by the service provider Makotel from Erfurt as sponsor (partner from the Bodenmais Tourism and Marketing GmbH). This ensures that no further costs will arise for the farmers. All those who would to participate can apply until the 31. August at no charge: Details and further information can be obtained from the Bodenmais Tourism and Marketing GmbH, Events Office, Altes Rathaus Bodenmais, Tel.: +49(0)9924/905294, or per email: events@bodenmais.de.
