In February, the women’s FIS-World Cup circus will be stopping off at the Großen Arber. Partner resort Bodenmais now offers a special arrangement for this top class sport event. On the 4 and 5 February 2011, the women’s FIS-Ski-World Cup begins on the Großen Arber with two races in giant slalom and slalom. The Bodenmais Tourismus & Marketing GmbH is offering its guests the exclusive “World Cup fan package” to get a glimpse inside the World Cup circus.

Just one week before the alpine Ski World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, all super stars such as Maria Riesch or Lindsey Vonn (USA) are on the start and competing for the World Cup crystal trophy from JOSKA. On Friday (04.02.2011) at 10:00, the first and at 13:00 the second run of the giant slalom takes place. Likewise on Sunday (05.02.2011) at 10:00 and 13:00, both runs of the slalom will take place. The award ceremony, the presentation of the World Cup top 15 and drawing of the starting numbers with all the stars, will round off the World Cup program. And there’s always something to celebrate at the World Cup village on the lower station of the Arber mountain lift during the breaks, and after the races it’s “Party-Time”.
