The Bavarian Forest is full of hidden talents. It’s particularly in the field of arts and culture that people with such talents are to be found. The “Bodenmaiser Kleinkunst-Brettl” (The Bodenmais floor show) is a new forum for regional and local artists alike; for newcomers and mainstream. All different cultural backgrounds,- from cabaret artist to magician, from string quartet to jazz trio, from guitar virtuoso to house music will be performing during the winter half-year - normally that’s the first Saturday of the month – presenting their talents “on-stage” in various localities.

She’s counts to those new, strong women in the Bavarian cabaret scene. Gerti Gehr is a young, dynamic and power-lady, who has a made a really good name for herself within very short time. And that’s not only in her Lower Bavarian home country, but also in the regional capital city of Bavaria. At the “Bodenmaiser Kleinkunst-Brettl“ on Saturday 10 April, she’ll be presenting her current program “Z’ruck nach vorn“ in the guesthouse Alte Post. And the title reveals it all: Gerti Gehr has followed the latest social developments and disruptions in our country with particular attention. She’s written intensive lively texts with an insight for the audience, that she now presents in her one-woman cabaret appearance with particular passion, a sharp tongue and roguish humor.
