The chairman of the board Dr. Thomas Müller, the tourism project developer Kati Müller and Anja Ketzner from the Harz AG, informed themselves personally about the touristic development in Bodenmais over the last years.
They were very interested in the “Bodenmaiser method“, particularly the concept that the manager of the Bodenmais Tourismus and Marketing GmbH together with Mayor Michael Adam and the supervisory board have followed and realized.
The BTM manager and the Mayor took plenty of time to answer all questions posed by their guests and also passed on helpful tips to the Harz AG. The Harz AG represents the initiative for regional growth and is a joint undertaking of important partners from economics and administrations in the Harz district.
Since the year 2003, the Harz AG has been operating as a company for the promotion of economy and gives impulses to increase of the efficiency of the regional economy and public mechanisms. Consequently, the Harz AG is acting as an intermediary in the region, between regional enterprises, research establishments and shareholders. The application areas of the Harz AG are subdivided into the promotion of economy development, education and employment, regional development and tourism.
