The musicians of the Bavarian-Irish formation “Shameless Jabber” from Regen, have already performed at the Bodenmaiser beer garden last year. Numerous faithful and newly found fans came from both near and far to cheer on and celebrate with those thoroughbred musicians. It’s only natural that such an evening must be repeated. Finally at long last on Friday the 8th July at 20.00, it’s time for summer night music on a romantic summer evening at the Marketplace beer garden. The four musicians with the head of the band Eamonn Hoey, a real Irishman, have been together since 1990. Eamonn Hoey (vocals, guitar), Sonja Sterl (saxophone), Chris Schmid (vocals, drums, percussions, harp) und Karl Handlos (vocals, guitar bass) all come from different styles of music. Classic, rock, hard rock and Irish folk combine their talents to a special new genre that they describe as “Irish-Bavarian-Folk”. The audience will be hearing the acoustic version from “Shameless Jabber” in Bodenmais, so there will certainly be that real touch of Irish atmosphere at the town center in Bodenmais, which is just what “summer night music” is all about.
