Happy faces at the children’s day in Bodenmais
It was a storybook children’s day with thrilled children, glorious sunshine and thousands of visitors. The most of them were children and their parents who came to JOSKA Bodenmais to enjoy the great children’s country day.
Everybody was delighted and able to personally convince themselves as to what was the children were being offered:, glass blowing, children’s face painting, making straw figures, fun with the tennis crocodile, the precious stones treasure hunt, a family rally and of course the magician who thrilled the children. Stephan Wittenzellner didn’t just delight the younger visitors but also the young at heart, and the long queue for face painting didn’t seem to get shorter the whole day long.
JOSKA Bodenmais, together with the Bodenmais Tourismus und Marketing GmbH and the Sport-Alm Bodenmais organized a promising and very varied program that exceeded all expectancy from both children and parents alike! Before the children’s country day had even really begun, the first visitors had already arrived and were showing great interest in and around the attractions.
The car park and the surrounding area on the JOSKA grounds were almost completely full to the limit, which of course emphasizes the popularity of the children’s country day. However, it wasn’t only visitors and locals from Bodenmais and the neighborhood that came, but also visitors from Rosenheim, Starnberg, Passau, Regensburg, Straubing, Ingolstadt, Schwandorf and Munich who travelled down just to visit the children’s country day.
While the children were enjoying themselves and having lots of fun at the adventure playground, the parents were able to relax and enjoy the summer temperatures next door in the König Ludwig beer garden and the specialties restaurant along with a cool drink or ice cream, or coffee and cake.
The children were thrilled and most of them left the children’s country day very tired indeed, hoping that the day would never come to an end! However, the children didn’t leave without eating a “sweet little bear” that was especially made by the local Fritz bakery for the occasion and distributed by the BTM, which has turned into something like a custom at the end of the children’s country day.
Those responsible for the good organization: Josef Kagerbauer jun., Alois Adam and Martin Bauer with the team from JOSKA Bodenmais, together with the children’s program care team: Christina, Ines and Simon from Uschi Rankl, Klaus Wölfl from the Sport Alm with his staff and Katharina Hartl from the Bodenmais Tourismus & Marketing GmbH, were all very glad that the children’s country day was such a great success and attracted so many visitors once again. The thousands of shining children’s eyes and happy faces are the reward for the commitment and hard work involved.
