Uli Hoeneß awarded the first "Bündnis-für-Kinder-Preis" (Alliance for children award)

JOSKA BODENMAIS manufactured the cups for the award presentation.

The foundation “Bündnis für Kinder. Gegen Gewalt“ (Alliance for children. Violence prevention) will distinguish renown personalities and projects in four categories of violence prevention for the first time this year, with awards manufactured by JOSKA BODENMAIS for the special occasion.

Patron of the award presentation on the 6 May at Schloss Nymphenburg in Munich, was the retired federal president Prof. Dr. Roman Herzog, chairman of the foundation.

Uli Hoeneß was distinguished with the award from the Bodenmaiser glassmaker for his commitment and civil courage, from the initiative “Münchner Courage“ and as chairman of the board of trustees for the “Dominik-Brunner-Foundation“ and “Civil courage award“. Birgit Kappel and Uwe Walter were distinguished for their documentation “Die Tragödie von Solln“ in the ARD political magazine report MÜNCHEN with the “Medien-Preis” award by the foundation chairman and moderator Sabine Christiansen.

The LBS Bayern was awarded the “Engagementpreis“ for their long term commitment of violence prevention.

Over 120 projects nationwide were competing for the “Prevention Award“ with a value of 25.000 Euros. The initiative “Komm: Wir finden eine Lösung“ (Come: we’ll find a solution) from the German Child Protection Alliance München e.V. was distinguished as the winner.
