Monika Gruber – live in Bodenmais

Bodenmais. On Monday the 11th April at 20.00 (admission 19.00) the currently most popular cabaret artist in Bavaria, Monika Gruber, will be presenting her new program in the Bodemaiser parish hall.
The trained foreign language correspondent really is a whizz kid. At the age of 27, the upper Bavarian from Tittenkofen mastered a drama school apprenticeship and was immediately very popular among theatre and television agents with her natural born talents. Whether it’s “Kanal fatal“, “Grünwalds Freitags Comedy”, “Neues aus der Anstalt” or the “Kaiser von Schexing”, nobody can afford to ignore Monika Gruber. Recently she's a member of the “Klugsch-Eisser & Co. KG” team, together with Bruno Jonas und Rick Kavanian in a satirical show on Bavarian Television. With her unique unmistakable humor she reaches a wide audience speaking about things in life that aren’t funny at all, but ironically managing to make them sound funny with a touch of contemplation. Perhaps that’s just her secret – honesty. In her role as Monique the waitress, she also focused on touchy subjects, and was always rewarded with a smirk from her audience, which hasn’t changed to the present day.
In April the cabaret artist is on tour with her new solo program “Wenn ned jetzt, wann dann”, and Bodenmais is already the third place where the carrier of the Bavarian Cabaret Prize will be presenting her new program – which is almost a premiere.
Ticket sales begin on Monday the 17th January in the Bodenmais guildhall at 9.00 in the Bahnhofstraße. The Bodenmais Tourismus and Marketing GmbH is sorry to say that no advance reservations can be made. Ticket sales are limited to 4 tickets per person.
