The open air cinema carries on. On Friday the 06.07 at 20:00, another entertaining evening starts with true Bavarian music. The film “Lausbubengeschichten” from 1964 is the first of five episodes, adapted for film with the same name as the stories from the Bavarian regional writer, Ludwig Thoma (1867–1921). The scallywag Ludwig Thoma, played by Hansi Kraus, manages to cause more than just an uproar at his Bavarian home village with his daily pranks, much to the grief of his mother Therese (Käthe Braun). Always annoying toffee-nosed “Prussians“ like the privy counselor Bischof (Georg Thomalla), the pietistic teacher Falkenberg alias Kindlein (Rudolf Rhomberg) and nagging relatives such as Aunty Frieda (Elisabeth Flickenschildt). It’s only his godfather, the congressman Josef Filser (Michl Lang) who seems to appreciate his pranks! The “Lausbubengeschichten” truly count to classics of the Bavarian comedies, never failing to provide laughter and good entertainment with such mischievous humor. Admission is free of charge.
