Sehn! - Sucht! Two women and a piano-man on the scale of heartstrings:

On Wednesday the 12 May 2010 at 20:00 in the Alten Rathaus on the Berggknappenstraße, a scenic recital takes place from and with Sonja Redmann, Samira Kirschhofer and Peter Hösl.
What would life be like without yearning? Two women, one common interest: both filled with desire, and in danger of being addicted as well! Between melancholy and euphoria they transform from housewife to vamp, from cleptomaniac to Cinderella. What happens when two such examples meet with the audacity of desperation, can be experienced on a humorous evening with scenes, songs and chansons from Georg Kreisler, Friedrich Hollaender, Weber & Beckmann and many more.

The actors:
Sonja Redmann (acting, vocals) studied as an actress at the Athanor Acadamy Burghausen. Beside her work as a free-lance actress at the theater and in the film domain, she also arranges theater workshops on general education schools and is currently working on various recital programs of her own, with texts from Georg Kreisler, Friedrich Hollaender und Friedrich Neumann. Since the acting season 2005/2006 she’s a member of the Munich Young Actors Ensemble. Furthermore, she has celebrated much success in many guest appearances, among others at the Hannover state theater.

Samira Kirschhofer (acting, vocals), nee Nabie, did her actress training 2005 on the Athanor Acadamy of performing arts in Burghausen. Since then she’s a free-lance actress working at diverse theaters in Germany and Austria e.g. the Vorarlberg state theater Bregenz, the Bruchsal state theater, the Ecce Theater in Salzburg and the Ludwigsburg Summer Theater. Together with Ulf Kirschhofer she established the circus theater Teatro Jardin Flotando in 2008, where she appears in the productions of “Der Verlorene Garten” and „Orient Express“.

Peter Hösl (piano, vocals) did his musical training at the Orff Institute in Salzburg, where he studied music and movement education with the instrumental emphasis on drums and percussion and acquired a degree of excellence. After excursions in the world of children’s theater and working as a clown-doctor, his way led him to the Athanor Acadamy of performing arts in Burghausen in 2002, where he finally found his career haven. His area of activities on the academy, are music theoretic subjects and coaching of the “singing actors”.
