The legendary Biermösl Blosn - live in Bodenmais on Friday, 12.11

The autumn cabaret 2010 in Bodenmais –
finale with the Biermösl Blosn.

After the cabaret evening with Herbert Pöhnl´s ”Koa Werbung ned” and the great appearance from Bruno Jonas, the Bodenmaiser autumn cabaret reaches its finale.

On Friday the 12 November at 19.30, the superb “Biermösl Blosn”are appearing at the parish hall. The brothers Well trio stand for Bavarian cult par excellence! Along with Gerhard Polt (who will be appearing in Bodenmais next autumn 2011) they range among the best Bavarian politically critical cabarets offered. The fact that Hans, Christoph and Michael Well have a great deal to offer as musicians is self explanatory when you take a closer look at their family tree. The members of the Biermösl Blosn and the sisters trio “Wellküren”, belong to the 17 man strong folks music Well family from Günzlhofen near Fürstenfeldbruck. They began making folk music appearances in 1976, after earlier appearances under the guidance of their father.
In 1979 the three brothers even severely insulted the Bavarian state government under F. J. Strauß , as the Bay-Wa anthem was broadcasted on Bavarian television by mistake. This was to be their last appearance on a publicly funded regional television station for a longer period of time. However that wasn’t the only provoking uproar that the trio caused. In 1981 they were “inadvertently” invited to the traditional stout barrel tapping at the Nockherberg. They criticized the CSU party members in front of the assembled ministers and delegates that harshly, and were promptly confronted with reactions of malevolence from the CSU once again.
The Biermösl Blosn music is distinguished among other things, with the partial ironical integration of other types of music such as Celtic folklore with unusual instrument like the bagpipes, alphorn, harp or the didgeridoo. But also with texts full of scathing satire on political and society critical issues, frequently performed using the traditional Bavarian rhyme and mocking song style (Gstanzl) with dialect.
The Biermösl Blosn always have a good surprise in store and are by all means the best guarantee for a great satirical and entertaining evening.
Tickets are available at the Tourist-info in Bodenmais and from all branches of the PNP and Wochenblatt.
