On Sunday the 3rd July the “Michael Reiß – Quartett” are playing at the “Café-Bar Zucchero” in Bodenmais in the Kötztinger Straße. The four musicians with guitar talent Michael Reiß from Zwiesel present “hard bop and Soul jazz” at 19.30.

“It’s our goal – no matter what music we play and what stylistics we follow – to play the interpretations as powerful and convincing as possible, to convey the enormous energy of the music to our audience!”, according to band-leader Michael Reiß from the quartet with the same name. For those who have already experienced Reiß during his highly successful performances with his formations such as “Full House” or “Martins Irish Project”, they know how much dedication and transformation that the talented guitarist is capable of.

The young Zwieseler has been studying at the “University of Music” in Würzburg for the last two years now. In the meantime he has made friends with many musicians who come from all different parts of Germany. He’s got together with three fellow students from Southern Germany to form his jazz quartet, and is now on tour in East Bavaria. Together with Michael Reiß (guitar) on stage are Severin Krieger (piano), Philipp Neuner-Jehle (bass) and Thomas Frühlingsfeld (drums), four young experienced musicians who have dedicated themselves to hard bop (a further development of the trad. bebop) and soul jazz.

Sonja Pfrogner from the “Café-Bar Zucchero” and her team will be providing an elegant ambience with meals and drinks specially created to culinary enhance the concert with that personal touch. Relaxation is also offered in the “Cigar Smokers Lounge“.
