“Blown, not blown away!”
Since 2008 the Bavarian Police Music Corps musically celebrate the New Year in Bavaria and on the border. Conducted by Professor Johann Mösenbichler, the symphonic wind ensemble also play 2012 a moving “melody bouquet” (Strauß=bouquet) – and that’s literally true, then most of the works from the New Year concert were written by Johann Strauß II.
The professional wind ensemble is once again supported by two soloists 2012: soprano Kerstin Möseneder, member of the Salzburg Bach Choir, and tenor Martin Kiener, member of the Vienna Chamber Choir.

The New Year Concert tour of the Bavarian Police Music Corps comes to Bodenmais on Friday, the 13th of January 2012. The concert takes place in the school gymnasium at 20:00. The proceeds of the concert will go towards the musical support and the training of the Bodenmais Knappschaftskapelle (Mineworkers band).
