“The Seer” put the heat on in Bodenmais

3.000 delighted fans sang and danced along.

For almost three hours the fans crowded the Bodenmaiser marketplace, to be sure to catch all details of the “The Seer“ concert, singing and swaying to the rhythm and dancing where possible.
The visitors came from Bodenmais, the county of Regen, the entire Bavarian Forest and from all over Germany. One fan-club even came from Hamburg, others traveled from Austria in order to experience the “heart and soul of the Seer“ Fred Jaklitsch, the vocalists Sabine Holzinger and Astrid Wirtenberger, Friedrich "Spitz“ Hampel, Jürgen Leitner, Thomas Eder, Wolfgang Luckner, Dietmar Kastowsky and Mario Pecoraro at close hand. Several particularly good fans even booked a short holiday in Bodenmais for the Seer concert.
It was’t just the well known popular songs like “Junischnee“, “Vü zvü Gfühl“, “Über`n Berg“, “!Baff“, “Sche wars wonnst do warst“, “2,5 Sekunken“, “Amerika gibt’s nit“, “Voglfonga“, “Bist du`s“, “Der wichtigste Mensch“ or “Hoamatgfühl“ that were performed, but also heart-wringing, tranquil songs like “Oma“ or ”Sonnwendfeuer“. Even children were able to go on stage occasionally and get close to the stars.
The vocalists Sabine and Astrid together with Fred Jaklitsch were very convincing, also showing their great solo voice abilities and of course Spitz didn’t hesitate to present his capabilities to the full.
The 3000 visitors applauded with a standing ovation then the Seer managed to take their audience on a musical journey, and gave them the feeling that they were a part of the program.
When one follows the history of the Seer in internet it states that: “What was originally intended to only to be a musical experiment between folk and pop music, turned out to be our trademark”. The visitors to the open air concert at the Bodenmaiser marketplace confirmed just that then the songs and music of the Seer were greatly appreciated by a huge number of fans of all age groups in Bodenmais.
The event manager Eva Adam-Sterl had the luck on her side with the Seer open air, even the weather held and the managing director of the Bodenmais Tourismus & Marketing GmbH, Andreas Lambeck was totally satisfied with the concert due to the fact that everything ran smoothly. This was of course mainly due to the efforts of the event team in the old Guildhall, but also the merits of the Skadi Bodenmais and the chairman Andreas Adam. Both he and his association members were responsible for the security barriers and the entry checks where some problems did arise, due to the fact that some of the visitors ignored the instructions that no umbrellas or such were permitted beyond the security barriers.
The Red Cross were present with a first aid emergency vehicle with many helpers to ensure quick and effective aid should an emergency arise, along with members the voluntary fire brigade from Bodenmais. All car parks and parking areas in and around the town were occupied, due to the fact that everyone wanted to drive in and park as close as possible to the concert.
The surrounding restaurants and pubs at the marketplace served meals and drinks and some of the visitors managed to get a rare seat directly in front of the localities, as the concert was planned without seating in order to accommodate as many fans as possible for the concert in Bodenmais.
After a long encore, then the visitors didn’t want to let the Seer leave the stage, the eight musicians and the vocalists said goodbye to their audience with “So san d`Seer” and ”Wilds Wossa”, happy and exhausted after performing for almost three hours non-stop.
