Bodenmais (pon). After the successful start of the “Bodenmaiser Kleinkunst-Brettls”(Bodenmaiser floor show) last year, the Bodenmais Tourismus & Marketing GmbH (BTM) presents regional artists during the winter half year 2010/2011 in Bodenmais once again, in co-operation with Roland Pongratz the County Regen cultural delegate. On Saturday 4 December at 20:00, the distinguished "Trio Accordo" is expected in the hotel Dolce-Vita.
The artist Pavel Hùla (violin), Petr Paulù (guitar) and Ladislav Horák (accordion) joined together and formed the “Trio Accordo” in 2006, brought together through their common engagement with Václav Trojane. Their spectacular appearances in the renowned “Suk Hall” at the Rudolfinum in Prague 2007 got such overwhelming critics, that they were already celebrated as the new “Trojan Trio”. In the meantime the professional musicians have acclaimed many great successes on stage, at home and abroad.
Alone the artists’ solo careers speaks for itself: Pavel Hùla won the “Kocian Violin Competition” twice. Since 1972 he has been playing the first violin in The Kocian Quartet, which has given nearly 3000 concerts over the world and recorded more than 50 CDs. But as a soloist, he has also performed with numerous well known orchestras. Since 2006 Pavel Hùla is teaching at the Acadamy of Art in Prague, where he also studied.
The guitarist Petr Paulù graduated from the in Pilsen Conservatory, where he also teaching since 1983. The fantastic musician has also giving coveted master classes in Brazil, Andorra and Germany, performing in countless highly acknowledged concerts in Europe, North and South America. Particularly his CD recordings with Spanish and South American original literature have been highly praised in professional circles.
Ladislav Horák (accordion), graduated with his instrument from the Prague Conservatory and University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. During his studies, he won the national competition in Hořovice, as well as many international competitions. He performs as a soloist, in Piazzolla Soloists and Quintet Bona Fide chamber orchestras, as well as other chamber and orchestral groups worldwide (e.g. Prague Symphony Orchestra, Moravian Philharmonic, Suk Chamber Orchestra,the Chamber Orchestra of Dvorak County, Praga Camerata). He is currently the Deputy Director of the Prague Conservatory and is one of the most influential accordion artists in the Czech Republic.
The repertoire from the “Trio Accordo” is extremely varied and very demanding. Besides works from Václav Trojan, compositions from Franz Schubert, Nicolo Paganini, Joaquín Rodrigo, Fritz Kreisler or Astor Piazzolla are to be found on the program schedule. All are curious and full of anticipation as to the musical gusto that the three top Czech musicians will have in store for us at the concert in Bodenmais.
