This coming weekend is fully focused on the Hohenzollern Biathlon Stadium, at the Großen Arbersee (Gt. Arber Lake) with Uschi Disl.
Sport Scheck and the Bodenmais Tourismus und Marketing GmbH who have arrange the training with the star, have had so many bookings that the event is already completely sold out. On Sunday the 21 February at 12.30, all participants meet at the ski cross-country performance center Arber/Hohenzollern Ski Stadium at the Großen Arbersee, to be welcomed by Olympic winner and world champion Uschi Disl. Afterwards a tour of the facilities will take place, where biathlon enthusiasts will be briefed on the use of the rifle followed by target practice.
Skating training will follow with tips from pro Uschi Disl and then the most exciting part of the day starts with a team competition, where amateurs can put their newly learnt skills to the test and of course cheer on each other.
At approx.15:30 Uschi Disl will announce the winner, who will also personally be awarded with a biathlon diploma from her. A joint meal on location will be rounding off the day.
Uschi Disl, one of the most successful German biathletes of past years, was double Olympic winner and eightfold world champion. She is also decorated with the Bavarian order of merit and is renown everywhere as an biathlon expert. During her 16 year professional career in biathlon sport, she has more than just distinguished herself.
Spectators are very welcome during the training event with Uschi Disl at the Hohenzollern Stadium on the Großen Arber.
