The performance of the “4 Deuces Jazz Combo” at the Bodenmaiser Kleinkunst Brettl was a great success. Which of course prompted the Bodenmais Tourismus & Marketing GmbH to engage the young musicians from Bischofsmais and Deggendorf once again. It’s not obvious from the name of the group to assume that the members are really five excellent young musicians: Stefan Unverdorben (drums), Martin Grill (bass), Alexander Blau (git.), Jonas Brinckmann (sax) and Sharif Osman (voc.). Locals and guests can enjoy a repertoire from the combo on Friday 11. June at 20.00, during a series of “Summer night music“ at the town center. Their music ranges from standard Jazz and vocal Swing numbers along with their own Latin and Funk compositions and modern Jazz. All original compositions from the combo were solely written by leader Jonas Brinckmann. Rating: well worth listening to!
