Exhibition rooms on the 2nd floor:
Special exhibition on the history of mining and the Vitriolhuette (vitriolic cabine) on the Silberberg in Bodenmais.
Function room on the attic floor:
- Jeden zweiten Freitag im Monat führen wir Konzerte in allen Musikrichtungen durch
- On the second Friday every month a concert of all musical genres takes place. Every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. the very popular event “Musikalischer Nachmittag im Alten Rathaus” (musical afternoon in the Ancient City Hall) takes place.
- Furthermore the slide show „Die vier Jahreszeiten im Waldgebirge“ (The four seasons in the woody mountains), „Der Hochwald“ (The timber forest), “Uratmosphaere” (Ancestral atmosphere) and “Das Jahr im Woid” (The year in the forest) are shown.
- On the first Monday every month a talk on health with exclusive speakers takes place.
- From October to March we invite you to culture on Wednesday:
In turns we offer Readings by Bavarian authors and stories about the Bavarian Forest Language course German/Old Bavarian Dancing lessons in Bavarian dances like the Zwiefache
