Bodenmais offers vacationers, day visitors, and locals a variety of public parking spaces—whether for the starting point of hikes, short walks, or excursions with the whole family.

For visitors to Bodenmais, parking in public parking lots is free of charge, with the exceptions of the Rißloch hiking parking lot and the Bretterschachten parking lot.
Day visitors and locals have a wide range of options—from day passes to annual passes to local passes (Bomoas cards).
The respective tickets can be purchased quickly and conveniently at the respective parking lot. Simply scan the QR code on the information sign on site and pay cashless.

By the way: Public parking spaces are subject to parking fees from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Brand new: Bodenmais offers day visitors and locals the opportunity to use the ski and hiking bus (lines 6198 and 6085) from Bodenmais via Silberberg, Bretterschachten, and Großer Arbersee up to Großer Arber free of charge with the day spa card, annual spa card, or local card (Bomoas card)! Parking fees apply at the following public parking lots in Bodenmais. The following types of tickets are available at each parking lot:

Ameisenstraße:

• Hourly ticket (€0.50 per hour, up to a maximum of €5.00 for 10 hours) – for residents of Bodenmais
• Daily visitor’s pass (€3.30 for persons over 16 years of age, €1.65 for persons between 6 and 16 years of age; children under 6 are exempt from the visitor’s fee) for persons who do not have their primary residence in Bodenmais and are not staying overnight in Bodenmais and are paying a visitor’s fee for this purpose
• Semmeltaste (free parking for 1 hour)

Day passes, annual passes, and resident passes are also valid as tickets!

Park in the public parking lots in Bodenmais and take the ski or hiking bus for free to the natural wonders of the Bavarian Forest! The day pass (or annual pass and resident pass) serves as both a parking ticket and a fare for our ski and hiking bus (routes 6085 and 6198). As a day visitor or day-tripper, you’ll save yourself the hassle of looking for parking and can comfortably take the bus to Silberberg, Bretterschachten, Großer Arbersee, or Großer Arber.

The ski bus (Route 6085) and the hiking bus (Route 6198) from Bodenmais via Silberberg, Bretterschachten, and Großen Arbersee up to the Großer Arber/Arber Bergbahn can be used with the following tickets:
