The market town of Bodenmais invites you to an information event on municipal heat planning in the “Glück-Auf-Saal” hall of the parish center on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 7 p.m. What is the capacity of the biomass heating plant in Bodenmais? Are there still opportunities for district heating connections? These and other questions will be answered during the evening. In connection with this topic, Mr. Brunner from the Regen District Office will also be on site to provide information about the “Energieroas” initiative.
The “Energieroas” is a new, innovative energy consulting campaign that aims to significantly increase the rate of building renovations. In contrast to the conventional approach, the consultation comes directly to the homeowners. After prior notification and consultation, the owners will receive neutral and qualified advice from energy efficiency experts on site. The costs for the on-site consultation will be covered by the municipality of Bodenmais. The details of how the whole process works will be explained at the information event.
The aim is to highlight individual renovation options and motivate homeowners to implement energy efficiency measures. This personal approach has proven to be extremely effective: up to 40 percent of homeowners accept the offer, resulting in many recommendations being put into practice. For over 80 percent of participants, this is often their first energy consultation ever – an important step towards greater energy efficiency and climate protection.
