The municipal heating plan for the market town of Bodenmais was developed in collaboration with the Institute for Energy Technology IfE GmbH in Amberg and the market town of Bodenmais between June 2024 and October 2025. The aim of the project was to develop a heating plan for the market town of Bodenmais. It was based on the Heating Planning Act, which came into force on January 1, 2024. The heating plan represents a possible target scenario for sustainable heating transformation. However, it cannot guarantee implementation and does not constitute a legally binding expansion plan. The heating plan for the market town of Bodenmais is intended to achieve the following: a strategy for climate-neutral, secure, and economical heat supply; the identification of suitable areas for heating networks, green gas networks, and decentralized supply areas; and the prioritization of measures to achieve the goal of climate-neutral heat supply.
