- Plants and decorative wreaths as well as seasonal decorations
The range on offer is impressive and boasts a wide variety of culinary delights. Marktgemüse Wittmann from Viechtach offers regional vegetables, fruit, eggs and homemade pasta. At the stand of Käseparadies Seiderer from Wettzell, the selection ranges from spicy mountain cheeses and fine sausages to hearty horse sausages. ‘We were really overwhelmed by the demand. The horse sausages were sold out by mid-morning, and I hardly had time to eat anything myself because the stand was so busy. We are delighted that the weekly market in Bodenmais has been so well received,’ reported owner Nicole Seiderer.
The Bodenmais village bakery spoils visitors with oven-fresh bread, crisp rolls and sweet pastries, including the widely appreciated ‘Ausgezogenen’. At the Auerer-Saibling fish farm in Frauenau, variations of char and salmon trout were very popular. Due to the enormous popularity at the start, the range will be expanded in the future, so guests can already look forward to additional fish delicacies. Annelies Schmidt from Zachenberg added colourful accents with bright autumn plants and artfully arranged autumn wreaths. The Bodenmais Handicrafts Club rounded off the range with knitted accessories and lovingly crafted cuddly toys – all handmade and therefore truly unique.
