The Kleiner Arbersee lake at the foot of the Großer and Kleiner Arber is a wonderful hiking destination.
The lake with its "floating islands" is one of the natural treasures of the Bavarian Forest.
The Kleiner Arbersee is home to many rare animal and plant species. Otters and beavers have been able to re-establish themselves in and around the lake.
You can explore the unique nature, in particular the imposing rock faces polished smooth by the ice and the wonderfully wild forest, on the 1.5-kilometre-long, easy-to-walk circular trail. Here you can experience the magic of the Kleiner Arbersee!
With every step with nature, someone gets far more than they are looking for.

(with the hiking bus from Bodenmais) or from the Mooshütte hiking parking lot.
