Die Ferienwohnungen Schiltenstein befinden sich im schönen Bodenmais. Die Bahnhofstraße und der Marktplatz mit zahlreichen Geschäften, Restaurants, Tourist-Info, Bus- und Zugbahnhof und vieles mehr sind in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Zahlreiche Wanderungen, etwa zum Hochfall oder in die malerische Rißlochschlucht, können direkt von der Haustüre aus gestartet werden. Das Besucherbergwerk Silberberg ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert. Im Winter bietet sich das Ski-fahren am “Bayerwaldkönig” Großer Arber an.
