German Ski Marathon Championships in free technique for the first time

NEW from 2025! The German Ski Marathon Championships are held every year at the two biggest ski marathon events in Germany, the König Ludwig Lauf in Oberammergau and the Skadi Loppet in Bodenmais. A new feature from 2025 is that the championships will be held in both techniques every year.
In 2025, the German Ski Marathon Championships will be held for the first time in free technique at the Skadi Loppet in Bodenmais.
The German Ski Marathon Championships in the classic technique will be held at the König Ludwig Lauf in Oberammergau.
There is also an overall ranking for both championships.

A new era begins for the Skadi Loppet in January 2025
Winter 2025 marks the start of a new era for the Skadi Loppet. For over 30 years, the Skadi Loppet has been the winter finale for cross-country skiers in Central Europe. Global warming has prompted us to take this new path and change the date. With the fourth weekend in January, we have chosen the only possible date in the Euroloppet calendar. We also opted for January because Bodenmais is 99.99% guaranteed to have snow in January.
This means you will experience the Skadi Loppet in a completely new way. The snow conditions in Bodenmais are perfect in January. No slushy snow, no rain or other poor trail conditions - we look forward to seeing you.
All starting places from 2023 and 2024 are transferred to the SUBARU Skadi Loppet with new date January 25/26, 2025 (more info)
