Every year, just before Christmas, the Zweckverband Kommunale Verkehrssicherheit Oberpfalz (Upper Palatinate Municipal Road Safety Association) sets its sights not on those who park incorrectly, but on those who park correctly. Then they also get something pinned to their windshield wipers - a thank-you card with a chocolate Santa Claus on it. The campaign is taking place in 70 municipalities, including Bodenmais.
