Swing by swing, the cross-country skiers push their way through the incomparable winter landscape on the Bretterschachten. The favorable altitude between 1100 and 1300 meters above sea level guarantees a reliable natural snow cover even in times when more and more ski regions are struggling with a lack of snow. The white splendor reliably covers the high forests and forest roads as early as December, but no later than the beginning of January. In January, 114 kilometers of cross-country trails are usually almost guaranteed - skating and classic in parallel. From the short beginners' circuit around the stadium 
to Bavaria's longest high-altitude trail, there is something for every taste and level.
