With its 955-metre altitude, family-friendly slopes and children's ski park, the Silberberg is the ideal ski area for families.

Alpine skiers and snowboarders also get their money's worth on the ski runs.

There are of course plenty of places to stop for a bite to eat on Bodenmais' local mountain.

The Silberberg-Alm as well as the Bergmann-Schänke and Herbert's Bar at the middle station invite you to enjoy a cozy après-ski.

The king of the Bavarian Forest

At 1456 meters, the Großer Arber, the roof of the Bavarian Forest, invites you to enjoy extensive downhill runs of all levels of difficulty. Whether a family run, ladies' run, Bohemian, Bavarian Forest or World Cup run - all pistes are groomed at night with state-of-the-art snow groomers. Nothing stands in the way of pure skiing pleasure! 

THE LONGEST DESCENT IN THE BAVARIAN FOREST 

The touring descent is an absolute highlight. This runs for around 8 kilometers from the summit of the Großer Arber down to Bodenmais. This is unique in the Bavarian Forest and probably beyond!
